NEW Philips 32PFL8404H/12 2009 TV SET!!!

Hi there,

 Do you have any plans to review  the new Philips 32PFL8404H/12 TV set? 

If not have you (or anyone else out there) had the opportunity to check the performance of this set?

Also if you are due to review the new Philips '09 sets (preferably this one) can you possibly give some kind of indication of when this will be - I love the styling, etc and know they have improved the spec, all I need is a performance indicator / review of some sorts on this set, thats all!

I recently bought the 42PFL7603D bout a month ago, after reading the review in the mag-5stars i might add, I have to say the picture is sublime, even on SD-dont have SKY, have it with Sony BDP-S350, PS3, HD DVD and into Onkyo 606, all excellent IMO

Philips LCD's have come on greatly in the last few months, im really pleased with my set, i wont be changing for a while yet.......

I can only imagine the 09 range will be as good,if not better

I got a 32pfl8404h/12 about 3 weeks ago and love it the ambilght on it is amazing of a night in the dark. Picture quality is boss once you have got it set up right one problem i did have was my 360 looked a bit laggy on it but sorted that by putting the tv into pc mode improves the picture of the games over hdmi great. It also streams all of my media that i have on tversity throught the ehernet connection so i can watch 1080p stuff off my pc if anybody is thinking about getting one i would recommend it.

iam also in the process of purchasing the 47 inch of the 7404 philips range after tinkering with the set for a while and i have to say that the picture quality is sublime one of the things that contribute to lag on these tvs is the hd natural motion it can lead to game lag so its best to have it switched off for gaming hope this helps.

yer putting the tv into pc mode switches off natural motion and 100Hz i was wondering though does anybody know what setting would be best for 360 game 720p ( the resolution most games are apparently) or 1080p it looks good on both just dont know what set it to.
