New Monitor Audio Speaker Range in September?

Apologies if this has been covered, but I couldn't find mention of it after a quick google.

I spoke to my freindly independent Hi Fi shop today with a view to auditioning the MA RS6 AV package. The guy asked if I knew that the range is to be replaced in September (I didn't!) Can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case I may wait to see if I can get a better price towards the end of the summer on this package.

Alternative suggestions for an Arcam AVR350 / DV139 set-up would be appreciated as well. The same shop stocks B&W and KEF but open to other suggestions (I've seen Spendor mentioned).

We spent some time with Monitor Audio at the recent Munich Show, but i'm afraid we were sworn to secrecy on most the product-plan info.....

I'll see if that situ has changed!

Monitor Audio sometimes are open with consumers if you ring them - they kept me well informed about the GS and Platinum range well before the magazines did...
That policy might have changed. Well after the RS range gets changed its then my GS range I guess.......better keep my eyes/ears/forums open

Ooooh thats interesting

I'm in the process of replacing my home cinema kit with the pioneer krp-600a, lx81 amp and lx71 blu ray player.

I cant afford new speakers but when i can the MA RS6 AV Silvers are at the top of my audion list.

Hopefully once the even better RS6 replacements are out, the current offering will come down in price enough for an early xmas prezzy..

Nice catch VoodooDoctor - Just googled the speakers and watched a MA representative introducing the speakers. They look the same size as my GS 60s - which would be more room friendly for people with small/medium rooms. Interested to read the review when they final put the speaker into production.

Now I am wondering when my GS range will be finishing so I have an excuse to upgrade to the PL range

There is a complete revamp scheduled in September - the Gold, Silver and as you can see in Whathifi news a new Bronze series. Sevenoaks confirmed the ability to order the new speakers and suggested it was not possible to order the current Gs range for example and it was being replaced by the GX range. Any one else got any links or pictures?
