I am buying a new hi fi and have gone for the marantz pm6003 and marantz cd6003 problem is i dont like the look of standmounters and want a nice pair of floorstanders, but not sure which ones to go with this system.

any help would be great, looking to spend up to 600 pound

Monitor Audio BR5 ? My Marantz NR1501 is 50 wpc and they work really well together.

And you could probably get them for around £300, or go for their replacements the BX range

I think the B&W 684s would be well worth a listen, my mum has an older B&W/Marantz system and i think the 2 have great synergy together. If you mention what sort of music you generally listen to and what type of sound your after warm, bright etc I'm sure some other members will have some good suggestions

Hi again

I listen to all types of music from classical to pop so good all rounders.

B&W 684 got five stars so will have a look a them, has anyone got the KEF IQ5SE as they also got five stars but can pick them up for about 350 pounds
