new amp and style speakers

hi there, i have the sony 2400es amp and the kef 2001.5 speakers, iam looking to upgrade my amp too one that i can get 3d , i have been looking at the pioneer lx53 and the onkyo ,my question is can i use the kef with any of the amps because i still think the speakers are great with music and movies or would these speakers not do justice to the amps any ideas cheers

I used to have some KEF Egg's, 2005.2 I think (my first 'proper' seperates), and they were great little speakers.

However, given the amp(s) you are looking at (you haven't said which Onkyo), I would have thought the speakers would start to become the weakest link, sound wise, and will of course limit what the amp can achieve.

they are one of the best satelite speakers, surpassed now by the 3005, but the 2005 will be less tyring.Myself I prefer these to the Radius Ma range.Only you know if you want satelites or something bigger.

I upgraded from the 2005.1 which were very good to the 3005SE which I think are much better.
