Hi,I am wondering what would be the best(and cheapest)option for my surround sound.
I have just purchased a pana v10 plasma for my living room,my currant system is in another room, witch consistis of onkyo 606 amp and jamo a102hcs5 speakers.

I am looking to purchase some kef2005.3 speakers for living room, now I am wondering weather it is worth me puting my 606 amp to match with kef speakers and buy a cheaper amp to go with my jamo speakers in other room or just buy a new amp (not too expensive)to match with kef speakers.

my currant set up in other room is just used for game play through ps3 and normal day to day veiwing of sky.

Any suggestions would be gratfully taken on board, thanks.PS I can not spend too much as my wife will not be to pleased.

In my opinion, the 606 would complement the KEFs well - I certainly wouldn't be looking to spend much more than £400 for an amp for this system.

Given your needs for just gaming and Sky in the other room and your need to keep costs down, it makes sense to move the 606 into the other room and look at a cheaper amp for this room like the Onkyo 307 if you're happy with the Onkyo sound, or maybe try auditioning something like the Sony STR-DH500. Alternatively, the likes of the Onkyo 507 / Sony STR-DG820 if you want the HD audio codecs just to future proof the amp - just beware partnering these with your Jamos in case the sound is too forward and tiring - auditioning is key.
