need some help to get the best picture from a samsung lcd hd tv

hi can anyone help me get the best picture from a samsung LE32A436T1DXX lcd tv,have tried a few setting but would like any advice has to get the best picture.would be greatfull with any help.

with respect if you wanted a good picture why would you have brought a samsung in the first place, surely it would have made more sense to have brought a tv that is able to give a good/excellent picture once setup like a sony or even better panasonic, i never have understood why people buy lesser tv's and then ask how to get a fantastic picture.

Whitey, just use the thx optimiser found on any thx certified dvd. Like star wars and some pixar films for example. Really easy to use and helps to get all your picture settings correct. It made a huge difference to the picture quality on my 42" Pany plasma.
