Hi everyone I'm from Thailand and new here(not quite). I'm gonna change my system into valve system instead of ST system.
What I'm looking for is unison research s2. Does any one use this tool and can recommend me?
NOw I'm using Denon pma dcd 510 speaker Elac bs123.
Do you know if iunison s2 is fine tool or not ? I have heard this tool unison s2 is needed sensitive speaker with up + 90 decibel (I found on internet that what user said( very rare to fine review or recommend).
but I would love to keep my speaker(88dB) because it reminded me to my grandfather ha ha
( He used old elac and I used to listen to them, very nostalgic reason)
Here in my country it's quit good price to have this tool unison research s2 it's 800 pounds new one.
(isn't that good price I don't know how much in GB they sell )
In case if I can't really keep my elac what speaker you guys recommend me to use with unison research s2?
And if I buy this tool it's now use EL34 and I'm planing to change tubes into TK88 and adjust bias.
Do you guys know if TK88 can produce more mature sound quality than EL34 or depends on taste
Finally my other choice is to get Primaluna prologue one but I tried to listen to it and it can't give me impressive sound like single end such s2. It's sound much different from solid state more detail not so bright but far from single end like s2(sound so mature I can feel the connection between me and the singer, but can't go with electronic pop or music with techno tools)
I'm really appreciate and thanks for your help. I posted here because not so much customer in thai they use single end,
and most of them told me to get cheap one to modify in the future
and the reason they don't want to use hi end brand because it's rare to find tools kit.
Finally I love sound from single end valve amp.( I went to listen at sound showroom very often) but if Unison unico 900 pounds (alternative choice)can really produce sound close to valve amplifier (in case weak power handling to my Elac bs123)
Thank you in advance(we have what hi-fi mag. in thai and I'm one of the member hehehe very reliable sound hifi mag.)
Thany you Andrew in advance too hehehe.
