Need help with amplifiers

Hello, I recently acquired a pair of Tibo EDGE 200 speakers however I am completely new to all of this so I was wondering whether someone could tell me how I can get them working? My understanding is that an amplifier is needed however I don't have a massive budget and I'm also unsure as to what a suitable amplifier would be for these speakers?

Yes, you need a amplifier or receiver to get sound out of your speakers. Your speakers aren't very well regarded however. They are described as party speakers: a lot of oompf, but with very little finesse. They should be easy to drive however. It's not just an amp you need however. What music sources are you going to use? CD's, IPod/MP3 Player, streaming, (internet)radio or turntable? As you are really new to this try to find a second hand amp or receiver. Add the sources you need as described above, also second hand. And after a while, if you like what you hear, replace your speakers for something better. You will like your music even better.
