Hi,
I currently own the Sony KDL-46W4500, a PlayStation3 and the Sony DAV-DZ500F all-in-one home cinema system.
I'm planning to upgrade my home cinema system to a dedicated AV receiver, surround speaker set and, possibly, a dedicated cd player (most of my music has been ripped from the original cd's and is stored on a home server and played trough the PS3 but I also play cd's a lot as I don't have the patience I used to have to rip the new cd's I buy).
For the speakers, I'm considering the following (in no particular order):
- B&W MT-30
- B&W 685 Theatre
- KEF KHT-3005SE
For the receiver, I don't have the chance to hear the yamaha AX863SE featured in the award, as it is not available in my country (Portugal) so I'm seeking for a suitable replacement.
I play both music and movies so I'm seeking a system that's good with stereo but also be able to handle the audio from blu-ray discs with confidence.
Which combination av receiver/speakers would be best?
What cd player would you recommend?
Sorry for my english...
Regards from Portugal!
