Richard Dane Naim Forum Anti Female Moderator

I have had constant problems posting on the Naim forum and the only reason I can come up with is that I’m female and the moderator has a problem with that

Now all my posts are being vetted by the moderator

The moderator keeps telling me ‘this is how the forum works’ yet we all know that this moderator has complete control over the forum

The moderator keeps stopping my posts being published yet all the male posters are allowed complete access without the moderator vetting their posts

So what if I’m one of the very few female posters on the Naim forum?

However the moderator has consistently stepped in on my posts and is constantly vetting my posts

All my posts on the Naim forum have tried to help people as I have 35+ years of hifi experience and building great sounding systems and all I’ve tried to do is impart some of my knowledge onto others but for some reason the moderator keeps stopping my posts and the only reason I can think of is because I am female and he has an issue with that

Shame on Richard Dane the moderator of the Naim forum

An apology from Richard would suffice as well as him stop vetting my posts

Sounds like you need an old female moderator who used to be a moderator on here and there called Clare Newsome, she was really good! 👍

All I’ve ever tried to do is help people as I have years of experience but the moderator always picks on me and is vetting every post I make

I don’t believe Richard Dane, the Naim forum moderator, ever picks on any of the male posters… it’s always me he picks on so shame on him for doing that just because I’m female

Try going back on the Naim forum as Big Al or similar.....
The beauty of forums is you are anonymous until you tell them too much...

Rather depends how sophisticated the forum is when they ban people.

I.e If it's just a simple account restriction, or they're banning IP blocks, using hardware or browser fingerprinting or other methods that require more cunning than just signing up with a new username and email address.

It may also be against their rules/TOS to sign up with multiple accounts too....

Naim forum is borring stuff for me. Here I hope tou find more listening and helping people. There are also several very good femine stuff reviewers working for WhatHiFi. Same HiFiPig. Reviews written by Janine Elliot are like best Lava cake among hifi reviews. Such a knowledge and passion behind. Wellcome to the forum here. 😉

Of course forum members gave me grief…what do you expect when you’re one female that has an opinion on stuff and a female that could pretty much buy what I want but decided on a relatively simple system and a forum full of males that didn’t like that I have 35+ years of building great sounding systems? But the worst part of it is that they are supported by a moderator with the same opinion. Richard Dane, the moderator, singled me out every time for giving my opinion on things because I didn’t fall in with the rest of the males

Richard Dane the Naim forum moderator cannot be questioned by any member about how I’ve been treated because the other members know nothing about it. If any member posts anything like that he will just take it down..Richard is all powerful

I love Naim but I dislike people like Richard Dane with a passion

I am quite certain that there are members here that are also members of the Naim forum… and I bet not one of them will dare to post about this because they all know that Richard Dane will take the post down and probably ban them also

Richard should be ashamed of himself for singling me out and vetting every post I made just because I’m female and have a strong view on certain topics…. I’ve spoken personally to a lot of the other posters on the Naim forum, who are all men, and they have never had any posts vetted like I did
