Sorry if double post.

Short version: new speakers, focal 726v. I have a broken c370 (intermittent crackling, but otherwise fine) and a bust alpha 9 (blows new fuse as soon as turned on). Which should I repair? Source is arcam rdac (gen1).

I like the sound of the alpha 9 but it used to overheat and cut out when I used to crank my pair of valdus 500's, don't know if the same will happen to the focal (live in apartment now so can't crank as much).

Thanks for any help.

Well,

In my opinion, you should repair the NAD C370. It has the power to drive the difficult load of your Focals.

Your focals need a powerful and warm amplifier like your NAD

By the way what is the problem with the NAD and the ARCAM?
