Ive been searching the net for second hand NAD amps, and there are alot of bargains out there.
I picked up the NAD C355BEE for around £230.

I was wondering if others can share their experiences with similar NAD amps.
Ive noticed that what hifi'd review doesnt reflect my experiences.
How about NAD C356BEE, and NAD C370BEE and others.....

I was wondering if anyone can provide some advice when choosing between these models.
What are the differences? How much better is one over the other?
And in particular what kinds of sound differences can be expected with differing genre's?

Im wondering whether I will get sound differences if switching to NAD C370BEE, it has better reviews then NAD C355BEE.
But on the other hand, there has been reports of over heating with the C370BEE, The power supply may have some issues.

Your input much appreciated.

I owned a C370 for a while, it had a big bold but ultimately unrefined sound (and a flat soundstage). A Creek Evolution I bought to replace it easily bettered it.

Additionally, the C370 developed a fault and broke. After a request for help on some forums I realised the fault was common and ultimately due to cheap production - we're talking about the first designs assembled in China, my guess is quality control was still not strict and labourers were less specialised.

In any case, I don't exclude things have improved with the successive 372, 375 etc, but the 370 used to have very poorly laid out components.
