nad 524 cd player any good?

thinking of buying this particular model very cheap ,just wondered whether it was one of the better nad's.

I had a NAD 524 in my second system and it died recently. I hadn't even used it much. Also in hindsight the build quality isn't great. So it doesn't get my vote.
