My new system & potential upgrade of blu ray

Hello again guys, having just payed off my dream av reciever and speaker pack (Pioneer SC-LX83 and Monitor Audio RX6 AV12 speaker pack, bi-wired on the front speakers with QED bi-wire, QED standard speaker cable for the back, and QED performance sub cable, all hooked up with QED referance 1.4 HDMI to my Sony 46 HX903) i get a free Blu ray player, the Pioneer BDP LX54, my worries are that this bluray player is going to be an under achiever with this system. Are my worries valid or not? should i upgrade the bluray player or will this player perform well with my new system?

Which TV have you got? For blu-ray discs, your player will perform as good as anything else on the Market. DVD upscaling can differ. Check it first, & if you're not happy with it's performance, demo other players for comparison.

All bluray players are NOT the same. But id stick with what you have personally. Spending money will probably not be worth it.

I would agree with Rik, not all players are the same for Blu Ray etc, but stick with the one you have, new players coming out later this year.
