Here are some iphone pictures...so apologise in advance of the quality. Anyway, soon I will want to replace the stand for a Quadraspire... I would be sad to see the current one go, out with the old and in with the new as they say (to many scratches on the wood surface) 🙂

GBHSI1,

That is a lovely looking system. How does the Roksan sound with the Arcam?

Keep the stand - you would be foolish to get rid of it.

Personally, my favourite thing in this pic is the neat speaker. Those neats are so small and tidy, one might even call them "neat".

Nice setup. Your pics make me think you're a music lover first and and hifi lover second. Don't ask me why, it's just a vibe from the pic...

BTW, I like that rack also. The equipment looks really nice on that particular rack. It's very proportional and the height seems just right.

x6 on the stand. I also like how you have been able to dedicate a good space to the hifi. My old flat had the hifi in front of a bay window and I would just stare at the sky as I listened to the music. (I feel a thread coming on....)

I think it sounds sublime now. After a few teething problems- I am now used to the sound so I really enjoy listening to it....but there is always room for improvements 🙂 The stand is really nice but it is marked considerably on the surface- unfortunately!...time will tell whether I will keep it or let it go (maybe even sell it). The rack is absolutely rock solid, very heavy!

Appreciate the comments. Music, essentially, is why we have hi-fi! so yes, music comes first! nothing beats a good track no matter which system you play it on.

Very neat setup. I love the aesthetics of the Project turntable.

Granite chopping boards under your Neats too?

yep...tesco's finest!!🙂

woollyjoe:what's the little box above the Arcam CD player? It's a quantum symphony box. The science or mojo if you like of the quantum:

''A proprietary material treatment process, Quantum Resonance Technology (QRTT), alters the conductive properties of electrical materials so they behave in a controlled and predictable manner.

These materials or electrical conductivity components are assembled into an oscillator/20MHz
transmitter design and a pre-programmed algorithm of specific frequencies radiates a small
electromagnetic field (EMF) into the environment. The effect is to positively change the performance of electrical devices, specifically affecting the quality of electrical signals, including audio, video and mains, smoothing out random electrical noise and clarifying the information contained within electromagnetic signals and fields''
