Music sound upgrade?

I'm thinking about upgrading my music sound, in the way of buying a cd player.

At this time i'm running a Onkyo SR 875 with a Pioneer DV-LX50 for music sound, i'm thinking of buying a Marantz cd 5003 or something in this area.

Or maybe do it all different, can some one help me out.

hello mate .i cant give you any advise but i am thinking of doing the same but with a 605 onk.richer sounds are doing marantz cd5001 for 79 quid and i cant see much change in the spec.might be worth a look.
