Munich 2015

This year was the first year I had the opportunity to go to the High End Show in Munch and I have to say overall I was pretty impressed. I would have liked more time there but it doesn;t always work out that way.

The show is well organised, for me has the right mix of stalls and listening rooms and overall I felt it had a open door quality to it where you really did feel welcome going into any room and having a listen.

The rooms themselves are larger as well than hotel rooms, which meant a lot of rooms had achieved a good listening environment. If you get a chance to go I would really recommend it.

I didn't really have enough time to listen too much so couldn't recommend who or what was good. Got a chance to go and see the Leema room, and there semed to be a lot of horns. Q Acoustics would still win my budget award though and they had acheived a really good sound in their room. I lsitened to at least a dozen DACS and am still no closer to picking one though LOL

Horns hey, those Germans! Q Acoustics, that was certainly my impression from the Bristol show. High end show and they were there! Just show how confident they are.

Because really you need to go to a dealers and use the same set up to have a good listen or demo at home. Too many variants meant they all sounded completely different

They had a great sounding room in Munich. I think there is a place for all levels at Munich, entry up to you have too much money

Looks like the Cyrus Lyric has had a makeover for the show (and the 05 verion has been dropped)

Note to Cyrus: *mail1* Lose the CD player (and £500 off the price), add some HDMI inputs, A-B speaker outputs, and ability to add a NAS module internally and you can have my money
