Multi region dvd recorder

Hi folks,anyone know if you can turn the PANASONIC DMR EX75 dvd/hdd recorder into multi region to watch my region 1`s?Thanks guys.

I know my friend has a Panasonic DMR EX85 and he bought it multi-region from these guys. My guess is they or someone else could get yours playing multi region discs too.
