Multi channel or cd input

Hi, recently purchased an arcam 360, for the best 2 channel playback shall I connect my dac to receiver via analogue inputs f&r multichannel or cd input, for best signal path.

On my previous Denon 3313 it had a dedicated 2 channel setting to toggle the speaker trims etc but to my inspection the arcam hasn't this to adjust speaker trims on separately on 2 channel, adjustments made here apply right across the board, I have tried adjusting trims say on the cd input but they then change for all inputs simultaneously, any assistance would be welcomed.

I prefer the source connected with RCA and played using "Stereo Direct," which avoids all processing.

Thats exactly the way I have set it up as well and it sounds fine to my ears. Have you experimented with the mulihchannel inputs for a comparision ?.......
