This site was reccommended to me in another thread as a place to find multi region BluRays. Does anyone have experience of buying from them? I see the Stieg Larsson Trilogy is on there for half the Amazon UK price! Anyone know what the postage costs are like?

Or do people use it to look for region free films there then buy them elsewhere (if so, how do you know the one you're getting is multi region?).

It was Professorhat who mentoned it in a thread about lack of HD sound on teh European version of Zodiac. But how do you know that films on there do have the soundtracks or whatever that you're looking for?

Hope this all makes sense, i shouldnt poat at this hour.

Cheers folks.

Hi Al

I've used movityme many times before. Have to say I usually check their price against amazon.com and they do compare quite favourably.

If it says on their site that its region free, then it will be. I've had no issues with any I've bought. There are many other sites to check on about which discs are region free and what soundtracks & extras they have.
Happy shopping

Unsurprisingly, I've used them and had no issues - have bought 5 or 6 films from them now. Shipping is free on most orders I think, unless you want express delivery, in which case it's £2.99 - remember it's coming from the US so it can take a week or so to arrive.

Make sure you read their FAQ, especially concerning what to do if delivered by courier and also if spending more than £18:

Q: An item has arrived damaged, what can i do?

A: If the item arrived via courier then you must ALWAYS write the words "contents not checked for damage" next to your signature, in the event of damage this will enable a claim to go forward. If you do not sign this way and a problem is later found then we are unable to assist with a claim. If the item arrives via your countries regular mail service please email help@movietyme.com and we shall advise what can be done.

Q: Are shipments Liable To Import Tax & Duty?

A: Yes as a rule all items over £18 in value are liable for Customs Tax & Duty. Customers of this site are responsible for paying local countries import taxes / duty and are none refundable by us.

I've not used them for a while now. They were ok, but after three items turned up damaged over a short period of time, they refused to sell me limited edition box sets. Companies selling lmited edition box sets should pack them accordingly. I was told that I should expect some damage to the box because it's come all the way from the US.

If I pay £50-100 for a limited box set, I expect it to be mint.
