Does this center speaker have teh midrange forwardness experienced by the BR5 and the BR2 or is it more neutral? thanks.

Mine came today and it's brighter and more open than the mission m3c2i that it replaced but i think that will tame with run in.

i find the whole range very forward in the midrange including my centre i like that as you always play with the amp on the home cinema. But i have found listening to stereo music a no no i think these are perfect for home cinema. I have heard kef,b&w and ms 5.1 set ups and these are best for price. I tended to find with the other centres i needed to adjust the centre volume up no need with the ma br-lcr all imo.

i have got to say ear that i cant see that centre working if you dont have the range at the front i find the br5's are great real depth and it helps with mtv and other music blu-rays etc. if you want 2 channel. but you know the range well so with a laid back or speakers with a warmer smoother mid you could get a major mismatch

its good i feel bad cause it is very good but in neutral iguess you mean do vocals stand out slighty more than say a guy walking over glass at the same time then yes it might not be for you but at the current prices it has to looked at even if you use it as a stop gap it would make a great 2nd set-up as well
