mixing speaker cable

Hi, Ive got a pair of 2-4 wireworld oasis speaker cable and pair of chord odyssey 2 speaker cable. my monitor audio GR60 speakers have points for tops, mids and bass.

can i use both together or is that a bad idea.ie the 2-4 for mids and tops and chord for bass.

any help greatly appreciatted

Have a play about and see, could be quite interesting

Some people do use different cables for different frequency bands, so it's not something that's unheard of. I'm not familiar with either of the cables that you mention, but one of them may have better qualities in an area which you may be able to perceive that will have a positive effect.

Hi, thanks for advise. am trying to avoid mixing as its such a pain going into the back of the hifi, but its gotta be done.
