Missing the B&W DM602 S3 speakers

Decided to hook up both sets as per the instructions for the Marantz PM8005. It's perfectly happy to run at 4 Ohms (ie two sets of 8 Ohm speakers one set on channel A, one set on channel B then run both at the same time. I think the sound is even better than with either set on their own.

Why did you buy the 707s? If it's pure bass grunt no small monitor will match them.

FWIW I really liked the 602, they used to match well with older Arcam amps.

The set up I have now sounds much better than either the 602s on their own, or the 707s. It sounds brilliant in my opinion. The 707s definitely add some definition and the 602s give it more oomph. The amp is designed to handle the load so.....no problems. Best sound I've had yet.
