Marantz SR6003 / 6004 / 6005 owners - quick check help

Hi,

I am trying to integrate a Home Theatre into my 2 Channel Setup. My Integrated Amp has no HT bypass.

The plan is

MAC Mini HDMI (for DD / DTS) -> Marantz SR 600X (Analog Audio Out labelled as VCR Analog out) -> pre-amp of Pathos. Also I will probabaly use a center speaker driven from the Marantz itself

I am guessing that the VCR Analog Out of Marantz is a fixed level out (No Volume control or mute function). Can some one please confirm this? If this is the case, I will solve my current challenge of decoding DTS / DD externally.

Kindly let me know.

(My Classe SSP has Tape out but it works only for Analog Audio Inputs which is a big bummer)

Damn.. I thought I wrote it well.. 🙂

I was trying to find out the possibility of Line level Front L&R (with out Volume control) from the Analog out when there is a Digital 5.1 Input stream.

However, I checked with SR6005 and I understood that it is not possible.
