Marantz PM7001 KI

What do you think of this amp.? Usually I listen to the classical. How it goes if to compare with ROKSAN CANDY and others from this price group? I can get it now for only 500USD and do want it to be a fine bargain.

The Marantz PM 7001 is a fine amp and this an improvement on that one, it's not quite as good as the Rokan Kandy K2, the other Kandy's I haven't heard but for $500 it's definitely a fine bargain in my opinion.

Personally I would rather have the Marantz than the Roksan. Its an excellent amplifier.

Yes, get the KI ver of 7001, superb amp for the money, good for classical too.

I used to have PM7001 Ki and upgraded to Kandy K2. K2 sounds a bit more together and matches my Spendors better, the bass is a bit more defined. But overall, Ki was one awesome amplifier.
