Marantz M-CR510 vs CA Stream Magic 6 v2

... so went today to local Richer Sounds to check Stream Magic with my Yamaha's HS8. Currently I've got them connected via M-CR510 headphone out ( the speakers hiss a little more than should because of the connection used but turning the volume down a bit at the back control pannel helps a lot) so deicided to check them with dedicated audio out. As expected - no hiss, but that would be the case with any other proper audio out.

CB - brighter but not airy, just sharper top

M-CR510 - more relaxed, deeper bass.. overall sounds better to my ears

.. and that's it really. Purchase not made.. will stay with M-CR510 for little longer.. still looking for a nice streamer or dac/ pre amp + streamer combination. Any suggestions what to audition next?

I just bought the CA Stream Magic 6 V2 timing, treble and bass all better than my Sonos its very subtle, makes the music more enjoyable, i stream Spotify mainly. I dont think you can notice it that quickly ie in a shop i had mine, still have on a 14 day trial, the qualaties sort of creep up on you and you realise your enjoying and hearing things you did not before.
