The arm looks better than the one on the Sony, and the ones on the budget Audio Technica models. The entry-level Rega and Project models are nothing to get excited about, so I think this new JBL should make for a decent affordable option.

be great for the kids in the bedroom and there bluetooth gaming headsets/ wireless earbuds, KID's love vinyl it fascinates a family friends 10 year old he thinks its fantastic..

A very different first hifi experiance they'll have to what we had.

Though mine wasn't much different a portable recordable minidisc play hooked to a Philips CDI player to record cd's and then listen to me tunes in the bedroom.
