Hi there

new here so any and all help greatfully received!

I am looking for a system, preferably a micro system to save on costs and purchases, that has stereo cable, dab, bluetooth and iphone dock functionality. I'm beginning to think this might be a tall ask, as so far I can manage two of these but not all 4. Bluetooth functionality seems ot be particularly hard to come by.

If necessary I can use a separate dock/plug for my iphone or laptop in via 3.5mm jack but I'd like to have one built in or included.

Does anyone know anything that matches that description?

thanx

The best way to achieve that kind of connectivity now IMO is to use Airplay on your iPhone in conjunction with an Airport Express. You should be able to find a number of micro systems with an optical input to achieve better sound quality than the analogue alternative. I know that Onkyo does one.

Hi.

In my experience you need ti buy Denon db38 microsystem and you will get everything what you want except bluetooth. If you want to use your ipod/iphone wirelessly in your room than you can buy roth dock optional, it will cost you extra 30 pounds. from richer sounds.

best of luck.

Hi

I'm in the market for such a system, particularly regarding bluetooth connectivity (latest spec and all).

There a few systems but rarely do they mention the Bluetooth spec they support.

Simples. You want the Panasonic SC-PMX7DB. Cheapest at richer sounds. Older models available if you're still using a 30 pin iThing.

Thanks for the reply BenLaw

I am actually not an Apple fan. i would never buy into their ecosystem.

It is Android and Bluetooth that interests me.

I have emailed Panasonic asking which version of Bluetooth does that system support.

I have started a thread with all of this for any one else similarly inclined elsewhere in the fora here.
