Looking for CD/Radio Player

I am not sure if this is in the right place sorry.

I am looking for a CD/Radio Player like a Boombox thing for a Birthday Gift.

I want to spend under £100 but the ones i found online only have 2 watt speakers.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think the type of machine you're looking for is completely out of fashion with the makers. I bought one of these in the year 2000. Very good sound for a portable machine with a pretty good FM radio. I have it in the shed now for listening to the FM radio. I even used it with my first iPod through a cassette adapter.

But Sony doesn't make them anymore. There's bound to be loads of them available in the second hand market. You will struggle to find a decent new one from a respectable brand.
