Hi,

Process of designing a cinema room. Going to have a projector screen and below it two cubes with all the electonics such as amp blu ray player stored in them. For effect when not using I was thinking in installing blue Led rights in the skirting boards behind to create an effect? Was thinking on 10 LED lights at 1.2W each - thats 12W in total don't know how bright that would be - anyone attemped this and websites which have lighting - ideally would like lights that change colour but thats not been easy to find.

Thanks

You could get a rope light for10 or 20 quid.

You can then build a pelmet (facing down) that sits a couple of inches off the floor.

Fit the rope light first then fit the pelmet to give you a good diffused light that bounces off the floor.

I find rope lights look ugly if you can see them, as long as they're not visible they give off uniform light.

You could be really posh and get a remote controlled socket and control it from your setee.
