I hear on John Lewis that if you get a ZD model it has 2.0a HDMI inputs:

future proof? Yes I'll say about six weeks..then some new set will take over making this one redundant...i should say the model was available a year ago..but they want to shift all the old redundant stuff first..so new is the new redundant..and obsolete is the latest offering..im being cynical gel..when you get to my age mate..cynicism seems a daily visitor..but your always so cheerful and that's cool..keep cheerful.. :)

If this old model isn't outdate already, it will be about a week after the new ones appear and this becomes a 'clearance item'.

So let's say three weeks, tops?

I still quite like this model. Does it do HDR via HDMI?

Gel, my friend. Do not buy the EG960V series. Not because there is anything wrong with it, I saw it in John Lewis in London on Saturday and it looked splendid. But rather because it's about the same level as the flat EF950V, and the imminent E6 series is noticeably better, all the first looks and the one review says so. If you're really itching to buy something, buy back your old LG55EA980W from Homesound, at least that shouldn't cost too much.

Wait for the LG E6 series!!!

Will do, just doing some research. Cheers!
