LG 50PX990 or Wait for 2011?

Hi Guys

I have a Sony kdl40w4000 (2008).I have been thinking off getting the LG50PX990 or should i wait till next year and see what come's out then.i have seen the LG50PX990 online for £999.(The 3d is a bonus)

or is there a better tv for the same price??

Is that 2D, 3D or both?? I'm looking at this set but also at the LG 50PK590 ( I think) which is on a retty good deal at PC World right now.

2D - not really tested the 3D. I originally replaced a 4 year panasonic with the 590 but it developed a fault. I also found the 590 very reflective. The px990 is a step up but the 590 is excellent for the money.
