Hi,

Erm...............saying nowt on the grounds i might incriminate myself!, but i will say this, ignore all the hype on contrast ratio's its a load of s.../nonsense!!

Andy's right - claimed contrast ratios are meaningless; only seeing a set in action will prove what it's truly capable of.

Re the 3d issue - the LG is a superb option if you plan o watch a lot of 3D, especially in company; comes with loads of glasses plus the passive performance of this set makes for easy viewing.

Samsung is a better 2D performer, however, plus is fine if you just want to dabble in 3D.

We'd urge you to try both before you buy at this size/price
