Led or plasma?

Im torn between a LG plasma 50 inch or a Sony 40 inch LED.What do you think?

Depends on:

1) Your budget

2) Your size of room/how far you intend to watch from

3) What you plan to watch. Mostly HD? Mostly SD? Mix of both? Gaming?

4) Whether you intend to use the TV's own speakers, or attach to an external sound system

If you can answer those, i'm sure we can suggest a range of suitable sets.
