LCD or Plasma for watching the World Cup

I want a second TV to watch the World Cup and have narrowed it down to the Panasonic TX L37G10 (LCD), £599 at Richer Sounds or the Panasonic TX P37X20B (Plasma) £459 at Dixons. I have a V+ box so I don't need Freesat. What do people think my best option would be?

cant wait to watch world cup on my sony 200hz 3sat HD lcd

the footy i have viewed so far has been excellent the HD is just the dogs,
