LCD Firmware update

Hi all, I have a Samsung 37" B550, I have recently been notified that there is a firmware update for my unit and also my blu ray player.

Question, is it worth the bother and what are the benefits if any or has any else or a similar model TV done this, many thanks in advance to all who reply.

yes have the 40" b550 it is worth doing firmware upgrade you may not see any difference but at least it keeps the running of the tv up to date it must have some benefit otherwise what is the point of manufacturers making them available you need a usb stick to download firmware onto from samsung website it is very straightforward to do go to downloads type in model number and follow instructions
