Lcd close to heater is it safe ?

Lcd close to heater? is it safe ? i like to put the lcd close to the wall and in the center but thats exactly where the heater is woud this cause the lcd to over heat or cause any other problems ?

I'm sure you asked this before - well, if it wasn't someone did - and I said I'd really try to avoid having the screen above or close to a heat source if at all possible.

Could cause overheating problems, could shorten the life of the unit, could cause all kind of strange effects on the LCD if it gets really hot.

Sorry. OT a bit.

Is it OK to turn off the LCD TV via the on/off switch on the TV when it is still operating? Everytime?

Or it would be better to put it to standby mode?
