seen that to maxx... if i hadnt just bought a 42VT30 and had a little more space i'd be all over it.... the buyer is a little pompous though... i know the kuro's are great.. but newer tvs have some nice touches that the kuro's dont have..

yea i think the presence of the vt30 makes spending around e1700 on a kuro (even the krp-500) a more difficult decision than it normally would be.

if i had the dough i'm not sure which one i'd buy to be honest..

edit.. the 50vt30 is around e2200 isn't it? if so it's the kuro all day long for me...

The Pioneer Kuro line from the 8th Gen to the KRP range are the best tv's i personally have ever had the pleasure of owning/using, i do hope something comes along this year to better them in the image...depth of field & colour's along with the obvious black level's...not to take there crown away but to see tv development move on, it seems since Pioneer threw the towel in on manufacturing/developing plasma technology the tv industry has rested, the only things they have been churning out is 3D tv's...i think as a new fad type gimmick to side step the fact that no new developments had been made in the tv image area.
