Ok my sub is maybe dead, awaiting the repairmans verdict as we speak. It comes from a four year old  KEF 2000 series system. Happy with the system as a whole, but if I need to get a new sub should I just get the Kube 2 replacing like for like, or does anyone have a better suggestion? Was considering upgrading to the B&W 685 theatre system, so could get the B&W sub, but it will be some time before I can upgrade the rest of the speakers, and the living room is small so I am not really sure I want to go to full size speakers at all. Also not sure if the B&W sub will integrate well with the KEF satellites.

Rest of my system consists of Sony BPD S350, BDP DG820, panasonic 37PX80.

Any and all thoughts/comments welcome!

Well the sub lives again, just needed new capacitors, £50 from local (Brighton) independent HiFi shop. Although I was quite enjoying the 'choosing a new sub' game, probably better this way!
