KEF Q35 or B&W 630i speakers

Hi, Im new to this HiFi bizzo so Im gathering a bit of knowledge from those in the know.

Our Sony system reacently bit the dust and I have a Rotel RA820 to power the turntable output.

Ive the choice of KEF Q35 or B&W 630i speakers. Which are best. I cant audition them as they are 2500kms away.

I'm a little puzzled - are both of the speakers pre-owned, as neither seem to be current models...?

Yes pre-owed and on ebay australia.

I need a couple of decent speakers but cannot afford the big bucks.
