Hi, i jus got my new 37B650 yesterday..
It seems that there might be a backlight problem though as when a really dark or completely black scene in a film or programme takes place the light is coming through in bottom left corner and the centre, this is with all sources! I am a novice so am not sure if i can correct this, but it doesn't seem right to me. It is ruining dark very dark pictures!

Also the picture coming from my virgin media SD box is not very good at all, can i improve this? it is connected by a scart cable.

Blu-ray images are immaculate except for the backlight being visible on very dark scenes!

I did warn you!!! I had the same with my 40leb650 and it went back for a replacement, when that arrived it was worse as it not only still had the clouding but it also had always on pixels which remained bright white no matter what you done....not good! It was at that point i gave up on Samsung and went for the Sony W5500, only problem is they share screens at manufacture so you get the same problem with the Sony W5500 although not as bad as the Samsung 650. My first W5500 had the clouding really bad so that went back and my replacement is much much better, the clouding is gone and i'm very happy but it's taken delivery of 4 tv's to get to this point!! Your tv IS DEFINATELY faulty so send/take it back for a replacement as that is what i was told by Samsung themselves when i was in your position and spoke to them on the phone (this was about 6weeks ago).

I feel for you goat i really do as i have been through this already and know what a right royal pain it can be and how dissappointed you must feel, take/send the the tv back and i hope you get a working replacement soon. Don't worry you are perfectly within your rights to do so as the tv isn't fit for purpose, best of luck and i hope you get it resolved quickly.
