I believe that it does when you choose secure mode,

J Rover MC has had the error check capability from the start (it certainly did in #13 which is where I started).
You need to set it up in the option menu where you also select the default file type, it's pretty straightforward. each time you rip a CD, it produces an error report, so you'll know if it was unable to read some of the data. FWIW, I've never had a problem on two different PCs but that is down to the hardware as much as anything.

Ill check next time i rip a new cd. Not gonna re rip all the other though . Took my ages.
