ITV Player on PS3

Hi,

I have BBC iPlayer working fine through the PS3, but it wont get me to ITV's Player, it takes me to ITV Mobile for some reason which doesnt have the Player option. Why is the PS3 going to the mobile site, i thought it had full internet capability?

Are you going to www.itv.com/catchup?

I may be able to find out how the page deals with different browsers (while I still have a job here) - it may be redirecting you to a catchall page because it's not IE/Mozilla/Safari etc

I have been trying www.itv.com/itvplayer and now just tried www.itv.com/catchup and both take me to their mobile site?

Don't understand why this is so?

The site may not support the PS3 browser yet (or vice versa). The official BBC iPlayer site only just started working on the PS3 recently as Sony introduced an update to Flash I think which allowed it (along with probably some updates on the BBC site as well I'd imagine).

Yeah ITVPlayer uses silverlight which isn't supported on the PS3 apparently...
