Bump.

Anyone seen it/used it yet? Officially it's only 'over the pond' as yet, but there are - ahem - ways of getting it here ;) , plus we have members over there.

Must say I'm a bit underwhelmed. I won't be cancelling my Spotify subscription for it. You can't tell it to play a certain album, and even if you choose a specific artist, e.g.: The Beatles, some of the songs it chooses and plays are a bit tenulously related to your choice and mostly aren't even by the artist you've specified.

I'll pass on this.

This initially interested me but £21 +, it seems very steep. If indeed that is how much it will be.

Being a Spotify Premium user I doubt they will win me over unless it turns out to be brilliant.

Does anyone know exactly when it is officially launched over here ?

But it's £21.99 per year (for the ad free version). Spotify Premium is £9.99 per month. So it's substantially cheaper.

They're aiming for 'early 2014' apparently. I had previously wondered how they were going to weave a Spotify-like service into their existing business-model which relies on purchased downloads, because I felt the two were incompatible with each other. Having seen iTunes Radio, I have my answer, and were I not already a Match subscriber (which is a flawed, poorly-implemented piece of poo, unless all you have is iTunes downloads), then I certainly wouldn't be spending the $25 a year on it.
