Kef are a chinese company & made in china. Domestic chinese products market prices are vastly cheaper than in the west. These are almost 3 months wages
Averages chinese wage in 2025 $380 USD /£ 295per month.

I think I am going to wait until there are some reasonably priced floor standing wireless speakers for £1500. I don’t think they exist already do they?

There will be a customs charge to pay, so that needs to be factored in. Personally, I would avoid buying anything beyond £50 from China. After sales support, returns etc. will be painful.

I have always fancied floorstanding speakers but have never had a pair. I thought about ones that go with amps but that’s too expensive and too much hassle. But I have found these which look very interesting:

Why do you need them?

I also don’t listen to my home cinema setup any longer but it’s not worth changing and I wouldn’t get any better without spending thousands. I am thinking halfway through next year as a potential purchase.

I wouldn’t get very much for my home cinema setup either. I am just sort of stuck with it. I could really do with something different to listen to music too but stuck for ideas.
