As I understand it, the new 700 S2 speakers replace the CM2 range; more or less the same cabinets, but with 800 Series Diamond-derived drivers (Double Dome, Continuum, Aerofoil) in them.
Looks like the 600 Series is seen as the entry-level model, with no sign of 300s. And they've refreshed (ie replaced) the 800 and CM2 series, so guess it must be almost time for a 600 Series revamp. Maybe next year?
