Is there consumer electronic show in europe like they have in las vegas every year

I know they have consumer electronic show in las vegas in january every year.NOw i want to know do they have one in europe.If yes which city it is held or changes every year.where it will be this year and when.These big companies like samsung sony where they show their new models like for 2011.Is there one exhibition where all companies show or each company show at different location.

there's the IFA show in Berlin.. but its later in the year.. companies tend to launch some models there if they have any changes to their lineups.. e.g panasonic announced the 42 and 46VT20's and GT20's at last years show

Are no areas of CES accessible to the public, Andrew? Are all visitors either trade or journalists? Thanks for clarifying...

I believe there was some limited public access this year on one day of the show, and with a pretty high ticket price, but in essence CES is a trade show for manufacturers, retailers, distributors, press and so on.
