Is it worth changing my turntable ?

I have a Project sb mk 1 and I am thinking of buying the Project sb mk 3 with the better arm etc, my turntable is slightly marked and it would be a good excuss to get a new one, would I get any better sound from it, I always use a OM 20 instead of the supplied OM 5.

Not for the cost to exchange, no. Save up for the next model up like the RPM5.2 instead.
