Not enough information I feel.Hi
Just bought an Exposure 3010S2D integrated. Is my system so out of balance I need to change the speakers?
If so what to, budget £1K -£1.5K?
agree, the ZX3 might be a place to start. If you like the sound of Missions, then start with a new pair of them Audition a few others against that sound. Pick the ones that make you tap your toes and nod your head!
A well designed speaker will respond well to better quality amplification. I’ve heard great sounding combinations of £2K amps and £200 speakers. That’s not to say all combinations based on those maths will sound great - it just depends how capable the speakers are - but you’re far more likely to get a better sounding combination than driving £2k speakers with a £200 amplifier.Hi

I tend to agree. A work colleague had a Linn LP12 with Naim amplification driving a pair of Acoustic Research AR18s and the sound was stunning.A well designed speaker will respond well to better quality amplification. Just got upgraditus since the 773's are over thirty years old and thought maybe I was missing out on something.
Need to buy (If I do) before I retire so got a few short years to save up
I would take the 773s along to any audition against new speakers. You may be surprised.
