Is A Rotel RA-1520 an overkill for a Monitor Audio BX2

I own a pair of MA BX2. I am thinking of upgrading my amp from marantz PM6003 to a rotel RA-1520.

But I am just wondering if I am am over doing it witht the rotel. What would the best amp be for this speaker, Yamaha AS500?

Would it be considered an upgrade? the marantz to the yamaha

I would keep the PM6003.

I think it sounds better than the RA-1520 or A-S500. But that's just me

No the Rotel wouldnt be overkill

It's a superb amp and it'd be a good buy as in the future you could upgrade around that as well

I think that the Yamaha AS500 would be too much of a sideways step & not really an upgrade
